I'm very much enjoying the growing Dark Moon vibes.. the quietness that falls as the moon gets darker is sometimes quite delicious.
These last two days I've been feeling much better, my cough is starting to ease & my voice isn't so hoarse.

Today, I've been trimming dead leaves from my indoor plants. A mentor colleague mentioned they are symbolic for the things within us that are experiencing a death/rebirth cycle.
A cycle topic that seems to be the theme for 2020!
The cooler months are finally here in the tropics, my favourite time of year!
Sun, rain, cooler days blending into warmer ones.. Creating safe-feeling home-nests is definitely en vogue for us all as we balance the global rebirth with our inner need for peace.

.. Surrender. Compassion. Community.. These have been the words cycling through my mind since early March 2020, as we moved into these Interestings Times.
Whilst revising where I needed to apply this guidance in my life, personally & professionally, I clearly saw that here was a greater picture; these were values we are all being asked to incorporate into ALL our lives.
I greatly desired to create a space for community to gather, one where I could facilitate with compassion, allowing for us to surrender to whatever medicine we all needed in that container, month by month.
This container will be moulded & amplified by each who participate, the unique medicine you all bring, questions asked & by the current resonance of the energetic / emotional / physical landscape.
The New Moon seemed like a perfect time to set this, the energy allows for deep introspection & the creation of fresh intention cycles for the month ahead.
I will hold space for the first half of the call.. I'll bring my nauturopath, witch, moon priestess wisdom, & decades of experience.. to facilitate guidance, meditations, ritual work, channeling & whatever else I feel intuitively led to talk about on that particular day.. Then, we can open the space up to each other, sharing what our current experience is, ask for guidance or witnessing if need be, bring questions, charge intentions.. whatever your hearts feel called to share or ask for.

What is this Luna Light shining onto, for you, right now?
I feel we are currently in a ‘betwixt’ moment in history. There is so much silence out there, so much noise.
We may feel like we are surrendering whilst in the eye of a storm.
We can feel change in the air, maybe a sense of uncertainty..
Perhaps we feel we are all suspended in burning, yet transformative caterpillar gloop... waiting for the push for change, as chaos whirls outside our inner sanctums.
Waves of emotions come up, fluctuating from frustration to calm, anger to peace, fear to love.. What better celestial body to watch & take cue from at this time, than the moon. She ebbs & flows with the reflection of the sun, facing it, turning away from it.. a dance that is consistent & varying.
How do we turn toward our feelings, our emotions right now? How do we make space for them in all their beauty, righteousness, mess & obliterating glory?
Is it more challenging to face the turmoil of creating anew? Or, to sit in the stillness & try to hold on, grasping the ‘why’, ‘how’, ‘what if..’. ?
The consistent presence of holding space to witness our own emotions, comes first.
The axiom ‘know thyself’ is applicable here.
This is what keeps us still on the inside, our fluctuating emotional body has intelligence to bring us.
Then, consistent presence in the face of the varying landscape of the world, of our community, of our family.. grounds us in understanding the next steps of the dance.
We reflect each other, we take cues from each other.. the dance of the sun & moon. 🌕🦋🌕🦋🌕🦋
::::LOCKDOWN BOOK RECS:::: It’s no secret that I’m a Terry Pratchett fan, I even named my cat Eskarina, after one of his Discworld characters .. Some of his best work has to be the Tiffany Aching series, all five books of which are pictured here featuring our little Finn-boi.
I gave my last set away to my cousin, & received these new shiny ones today.. They are classified as young adult novels, so any age group can enjoy these similar to how Harry Potter is.
If you have kids at home & are looking for imaginative, brilliantly written books to entertain them (& yourself) I highly recommend these!
It follows 11yr old Tiffany, who discovers she is a witch, queen of the wee free men (Scottish type pixies, but not Scottish because this is the discworld.. a parody-like mirror to our own), & quite good at outwitting monsters & faeries.
My favourite in the series is book 3, Wintersmith, where Jack Frost falls in love with her & epic chaos ensues (ol’ Jack is pretty toxic). The Shepherds Crown is the last book TP wrote, it’s so moving I cried the whole time.. yes, they are YA books, they are just REALLY good haha.
The weaving of mythology, folktale, history, morality, magick, politics, philosophy & humour is something TP could do uniquely well, & this with series I think he applied his most mindful efforts. ❤️🥀🍄🍁🐚❄️🐇🐏

Can I make a suggestion? It may be a little offbeat with the rest of social media right now.. even contradictory to be posting it here.. But please, hear me out.. Let’s take a pause, a breath.. let’s just *stop* for a moment.
There are so many generous hearted people seeking to be of service on social media right now..
Open community gatherings, mediations, yoga classes, workouts.. creations of love.. free courses.. So many friends & family sharing opinions & news articles & emotions .. But before we flit from one thing to another, & try to juggle the endless media, opinion, offerings etc online, with our own personal crisis at this time..
Let’s take pause.
The Holistic Branch messaging has always been about finding our own inner guidance to what we need, to connect to our own medicine.. to intuit what would be most useful to us to source next on our healing path..
Empowered self-healing, (which includes finding the right mentors, modalities, coaches etc, as well as self education) all the way!
In order to do that, to hear our inner intuitive voice, we need to be still for a while.
We need to feel what we are FEELING.
Right now there is so much collective and personal grief & fear.. if you feel overwhelmed by this, please take pause.
Maybe brew a cup of something soothing, sit in your backyard, connect with your heart and ask ‘what next, what do I desire’? My guess is probably a nap!
Ok.. maybe a big cry first.. maybe to scream.. sob.. let go.. feel into the darkest, grieving place within you right now and let it be expressed. Create a clear channel to hear yourself past the overwhelm.. Then nap.
Then again, ask ‘what next? What does my body/mind/heart/ family need right now’? Then once again, do that.. then another heart check in..
Make space for what is calling within you..
One moment to moment, feeling to feeling, intuitively led.. And if you have children, encourage them to check in with themselves and express what they may be feeling too..
A non-judgemental, free-form, safe space to voice is what all of us need right now.
Not necessarily to always be answered .. but always heard.

I woke at 5am this morning & couldn’t get back to sleep, so I whirled this video on repeat for about an hour & had myself a lil Sunrise Dance Party 💜✨ I love the vibe of this music vid..
